  • Coached for four years at Rogers High School
  • 4 Years at Kentridge High School. Placed 3rd in State in 2018. Posted a 26-1 record, League champions and 1st in districts. First state appearance since 2001, first time placing top 3 since 1992.

  • 2010 USAV Junior Nationals Bid won (National Div) as coach for Lake Tapps U-17 Orange, also qualified for the American division in Reno for Far Western Qualifier finishing in 3rd Place

Kasey Yost

BIO
I grew up in Renton, WA and bring over 30 years of volleyball experience to the club. I played college volleyball at the equivalent division one level at Washington State University.  My primary position has been setter.  After graduating from WSU, I then went on to coach at Hazen High School for 5 years. My coaching philosophy is about teaching the fundamentals of the game in a positive learning environment and helping each player grow individually and as a team.  I am excited for my 2nd year here at Lake Tapps Volleyball Club and am looking forward to the upcoming season.

Melanie Siancotos

16 Orange Assistant


Melanie is a junior at University of Puget Sound, originally from Newark, California. She has played and coached for Endline and Red Rock Volleyball Club. She has been playing since she was 12 and coached since 16. By the end of the season she want every girl he has the opportunity to coach to be more independent and decisive; skills that she first hand developed, and continue to develop, as a student athlete at a high level. Attended Newark Memorial High school, earned second team all league her junior year and first team her senior year. Was nominated for Freshman of the Year at UPS, received second team all Northwest Conference her sophomore year.

Kayla Morris

  • Coaches with her sister, they have over 12 years of coaching experience. With age ranges 13-16’s.
  • 2010- Finished a winning season in the top of the PSR 15’s age division 
  • 2011- Led 16’s team to a top 10 finish at Far Westerns in Reno,NV as well as a 3rd Place Finish at the Willamette Classic in Corvallis,OR
  • Top 5 finish at the PSR Regional Championships
  • 2012- Led 13’s team to a top 8 finish at Far Westerns and a top 10 finish at PNQ
  • 4th place finish in the 14’s Division at the Willamette Classic 
  • 1st place finish at PSR Championships, and an undefeated 1st place finish at the PSR Bid Tournament to earn a National Bid.          
  • 2013- Led their 14’s team to a 3rd Place finish at the SCVA National Qualifier in Anaheim, CA 
  • 5th place finish at the Pacific Northwest Qualifier in Spokane, WA 
  • Took two top 5 tournament finishes in the 16’s age division
  • Had 7 players go on to start as freshman on their High School Varsity Teams  

Catlin Drewry

Tom Wells

2012-16 Mt. Rainier High School (Des Moines). Took the program from not having won a 4A match previously to winning seasons and District qualifier. 

2015 Recognized as South Puget Sound League (Northern Conference) Coach of the Year

2015 Retired from 40 years of college teaching in Exercise Science, university administration, coaching women’s softball, tennis, golf, and soccer.

Alyssa Wright

Originally from San Jose, California now currently ad junior at University of Puget Sound. Attended Archbishop Mitty High School where she won 2 state championships her Junior and Senior year. Played club at Mountain View Volleyball Club for 7 years. Qualified twice for Nationals at U14’s and U17’s.

Jena Williams

14 Blue Assistant

Graduated in 2019 from Roosevelt High School in Seattle, Washington. Played 3 years on varsity as an outside hitter, and was team captain senior year. 3 consecutive State Championship appearances (2016, 2017, 2018) with a 7th place state finish in 2018. SeaKing District Champions in 2017, Metro League Champions in 2018. 2nd team all league as a junior, 1st team all league as a senior, all state honorable mention as a senior. Played at All Out Volleyball Club from U13-U17, team captain 4 consecutive years. Played for Seattle Juniors in U18s year, 2nd place national finish in the Patriot division. Currently playing at the University of Puget Sound as an outside/right side hitter.

Kathleen Brown

12 Orange


Kathleen has been playing volleyball for 10 years, a current player at University of Puget Sound, and has coached in Southern California for Genuine VBC for 4 years. Growing up in one of the most competitive volleyball climates, she has played for both Wave and Genuine on top teams, and at San Dieguito Academy High School, as a 3 year letterman, starter, and captain. She was a part of the CIF team that competed against the No.2 team in the country, Torrey Pines. She is a decorated student-athlete, recognized by the San Diego Union Tribune on the All-Academic Team, and honorable mention on the CIF teams. She was awarded best defensive player all three years of high school, and was named all tournament team of the Scripps Ranch Tournament. Her club teams have ended in gold for her last 3 years of playing for SCVA. Currently she is a sophomore at the University of Puget Sound where she plays under head coach Mark Massey.
